Patients in medical, surgical and mental health wards at Forth Valley Royal Hospital can now have one visitor a day for a 45 minute periodt at a pre-arranged time agreed with local ward staff.

An NHS Forth Valley spokesperson added: “Patients in our community hospitals can have up to two visitors for a 45 minute period at a pre-arranged time agreed with local staff in advance.”

Visitors should continue to take a lateral flow device test before every visit.
