West Lothian Money Week

MAKE the most of your dough with advice from Better Off West Lothian Money Week this week.

Residents can get involved in around 30 local events taking place from Monday October 1 to Friday, October 6.

Danny Logue, executive councillor for social policy, said: “The programme has been designed to ensure that there is something for everyone from free films to confidence boosting workshops. We want people to know there is help and advice available to make sure they get the most out of their money.”  

Key events taking place include ‘Women onto Work’ at West Lothian College on Tuesday, October 2, from 9.30am to 11.30am for women getting back into the workplace; ‘Get Involved!’ at West Lothian College, Wednesday, October 3 from 7pm to 9pm, to find out about ways to get involved in local classes and groups. There is also a Community Arts Workshop at the Low Port Centre, Linlithgow, on Saturday, October 6, from 2pm to 4pm, for those wanting to get creative.
