LINLITHGOW talent was on show last week at a special gig at the LYPP Lounge.
Around 40 people turned up at the free event to see local newcomers ‘B-Line’ and the more well known, ‘All She Knows’ from Glasgow.
Organiser Anne Muir, who set up the event as part of her college course, said: “The gig night went really well. The band from the Lounge, B-Line, were really good. Then ‘All She Knows’ from Glasgow played an acoustic set which the young people really enjoyed. They also took time to speak to the young people and give them advice. B-Line really enjoyed playing alongside them and found them inspiring.”
The event was the first gig in Anne’s set of three Dare To Dream concerts. The next will be Amie Aitken on Saturday, March 16 at St John’s Church building on Union Road at 7.30pm, with support from St John’s youth band, and free entry. Then Royal Foundlings will play on Friday, April 5, at St John’s Church building at 7.30pm. Tickets are £4 and available from 183 High Street. Everyone is welcome to come along.
