Kids' yard sale raises money for Cancer Research

BIG-hearted Ashlea Macdonald and her friends had a yard sale last weekend for Cancer Research.
Ashlea, Jodi Simpson and Daniel Burges (all nine and P5 pupils at Linlithgow Primary) wanted to help research into the disease that Ashlea's mum and gran have battled.

Mum Elspeth said: "They organised it themselves, and put posters up at school. I thought they'd be lucky to get £20."

In fact, the sale at Hamilton Place, made around £70, which went to the High Street charity shop.
