FALKIRK Council has given the go ahead for a major employer to transfer 300 jobs near Linlithgow.
Campbells Prime Meat Ltd - formerly based in Broxburn - was hit by a devastating fire earlier this year which destroyed their food processing plant.

They prepared plans to move into the Henderson's abattoir building between LInlithgow and Whitecross, but needed a change of use consent.

Within the last week planning officials have approved the proposal, which could see the firm relocate over the summer.

After the fire the firm was forced tos top deliveries for several weeks while it found temporary accommodation.

The last budget before the general election is due. How would you help the economy?
I'm happy to pay more income tax to see more investment
I want a wage freeze for all public sector staff
