A meeting is taking place on Wednesday discussing the state of air quality in Linlithgow.

Transition Linlithgow is hosting the event and have invited an environmental health officer from West Lothian Council to attend to speak at the meeting.

The aim of the meeting is to give the council as much information and help before tackling the air issues.

Due to levels of air pollution being too high, West Lothian Council had to declare Linlithgow an air quality management area and the meeting will discuss whether the whole town should be included or just the High Street.

The meeting takes place tomorrow at the Star and Garter Hotel from 7.30pm.
