The next Hopetoun farm shop masterclass will serve up a lesson in the art of cooking by Dakota Hotels executive chef Marc Robertson.
The masterclass will adopt a Valentine’s theme with Marc demonstrating how to put together a sumptuous selection of delicious dishes, created especially for the most romantic night of the year.
Using the finest seasonal produce from the farm shop, such as Hopetoun Estate Aberdeen Angus beef, Marc will show how to prepare each dish and give helpful tips on how to prepare simple but great tasting food.
Neil Robertson, of Wood Winters Wine, will be on hand to partner up a selection of hand-picked wines to accompany each dish.
Elaine Shirley, Hopetoun farm shop manager, said: “Our masterclass series has been such a big hit – it’s great to see the same faces returning.
“We’re delighted to welcome Marc for the first time and look forward to seeing what he rustles up for a romantic night in.
“All of us really enjoy seeing the produce from the shop turned into these incredible dishes.
“It means we can give advice to customers on what they can make with their ingredients!”
Marc’s masterclass will take place at Hopetoun Farm Shop on Thursday, February 12, from 6.30-8.30pm.
Tickets, priced £10, are on sale in the Hopetoun farm shop or call 01506 830716.
