Have your say

If you plan to view the new Queensferry Crossing, why not become a part of the project’s legacy while you are there?

Visitors to Queensferry wishing to view the ‘work in progress’ are being invited to take photographs which will form an online “People’s Bridge” mosaic.

All you need to do is take a photo of yourself, family and/or friends at dedicated signs next to the contact and education centre or at the Queensferry Hotel on the north side with the bridge works in the background to become part of ‘Frame the Bridge.’

You can upload your photograph to help build the mosaic and your photos will also form a key part of the celebrations when the bridge opens.

Pictured right, the image features hundred of photographs which are compressed to make up the actual image.

Once submitted, you can search for your photograph in the mosaic.

Visitors to the mosaic can zoom into it to see each individual photo, and a random entry is highlighted by the site every time someone visits it.

The organisers are hopeful they will receive thousands of submissions before the construction project
finishes in 2016.

‘‘Frame the Bridge’’ aims to build on the success of ‘‘Name the Bridge’’ campaign which saw over 35,000 people vote for the permanent bridge name. For more information go to www.forth-bridges.co.uk/queensferry-crossing/frame-the-bridge/frame-the-bridge-mosaic.html
