Beavers are not often found planting bulbs but last week they were hard at work in Linlithgow.

Fifteen Beaver Scouts of the 4th West Lothian Beaver Scout Colony, based at The MacKinnon Hall in Linlithgow Bridge, planted 500
crocus bulbs beside the Burgh Beautiful floral bed in front of the Kinloch View retirement houses on
Blackness Road, to the
delight of residents.

The planting event also contributes to the Beaver Scout Capital Friendship Challenge Badge and
also the Outdoor Challenge
Badge.

Bulbs were provided by Burgh Beautiful who want to involve youngsters and the general community in making floral improvements to Linlithgow.
