REGULARS at Platform 3 in Linlithgow dipped deeply into their pockets over the past year to raise £2750 for local charitable causes.
Thanks to their charity bottle, pub quizzes, raffles and their weekly bonus ball, the High Street hostelry was able to donate various cheques to local and national charities. Among those to benefit were Linlithgow and Linlithgow Bridge Gala Day (£1000), Linlithgow Link (£250), Linlithgow Reed Training Band (£250), Marie Curie (£500) Cancer Research (£250), Prostate Cancer (£250) and CHAS (£250). Mine host Ian Gibson is seen here with staff Gillian Gray and Lisa Smith presenting cheques to David Mutch, Linlithgow Reed Training Band, Linlithgow gala queen Holly Dolan and Don McAuley, of Linlithgow Link. Ian said: “We raised an excellent amount this year for charity. I want to thank my regulars for their generosity throughout the past year.”
