Two charities were dealt a winning hand when Bo’ness Bridge Club presented cheques at their regular Thursday meeting in the town’s library rooms.

The Tuesday Club, which works with dementia sufferers and is based at the town’s St Andrew’s Church, and Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre at the Western General Infirmary, Edinburgh, both received cheques for £250.
