A Bo’ness medical practice has said farewell to one of its longest serving, and most loved, doctors.

After 31 years of service Dr Janet Paton is hanging up her stethoscope to enjoy the more relaxing activities that life has to offer.

“I have mixed emotions if I’m honest,” Janet told the Journal and Gazette.

“My husband is a bit older than myself, so it had always been out intention for me to retire this year to give ourselves more time to spend together.”
