A man from Bo’ness was apprehended by police for being seven times over the legal driving limit.

He appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court and pleaded guilty. The man, who was caught on Monday, September 21, was handed an interim disqualification from driving and will be sentenced at a later date.

An average of 20 people die on Scotland’s roads each year as a result of drink driving collisions. 
Forth Valley area Road Policing Unit Inspector Andrew Thomson said: “You are three times more likely to die in a car crash after drinking alcohol.”
