A SPONSORED toddle event in Bo’ness raised more than £1000 for the Salvation Army’s ‘Big Collection’ appeal.

Salvation Army captain Timothy Lennox praised those who took part to help raise cash for the Army’s national appeal which funds vital support for thousands of people in desperate need, including people who are homeless, families facing hardship, victims of violence and abuse and lonely, older people. He said: ‘‘Our target in Bo’ness is to raise £4000 over the coming year and thanks to the generous members of the playgroup we have managed to attain a quarter of that target.’’
