A model from Bo’ness is living the dream as she will be jetting to London to strut her stuff at London Fashion Week.
Clare Allan (27) has been modelling on and off since she was little and always thought of it as a hobby rather than a job.
However, after signing a two-year contract with Top Class Promotions and Modelling, Clare has been selected to walk the walk at one of the world’s biggest fashion shows.
She said: “I only signed in November, I never expected something this big to happen so quickly.”
Clare will fly to London next month and hit the catwalk on behalf of House of Ikon, and she will be aiming to impress.
She said: “You never know who may be watching, so I will have to work hard and do my best.”
Clare will spend the first day rehearsing from 6am. Then there will be a full day on the catwalk before she finally gets to enjoy herself with a night out with some designers.
She added: “It is not all fun and games, and is a lot more hard work than people think.”
Clare currently works for the Scottish Prison Service in payroll but hopes this could be the start of a new career.
She said: “I am very excited about London Fashion Week.”
