Bo'ness police help deliver urgent prescriptions

POLICE officers from the Bo'ness station have been assisting pharmacists by delivering urgent prescriptions to patients.

They've been phoning the local chemists to find out what emergency prescriptions have been affected by the road conditions.

There's also been extra police activity around the entrance to West Mains Industrial Estate, Grangemouth, and some of the motorway junctions.

Officers have helped the flow of wagons in and out of Grangemouth which is a key location for the movement of fuel and foods to the rest of Scotland and the north of England.
