‘A SMALL Town Affair’ is the book that will take centre stage at a special event with author and politician’s wife Rosie Wallace.
Meet Rosie in the Marquee at the Rugby Club on Sunday, June 12, at 2pm where she will discuss her new novel with Cathy Paton, wife of the assistant minister, and take questions from the audience.
Beginning with a hillarious account of a young mum struggling to cope with a young family in a small town, things fast begin to unravel with a growing sense of unease.
Rosie Wallace was brought up in Milngavie and is married to Jim Wallace, former Deputy First Minister.
Next on the bill is entrepreneur Fraser Doherty talking about his book, ‘Super Jam’, and new publication ‘Super Business’. The young lad rose to fame when he turned his granny’s special jam into an award winning product. There will be tea, coffee and home baking available with donations going to Edinburgh Sick Kids and Donaldsons’ School.
Tickets £6 for the whole afternoon, from The Linlithgow Bookshop and Little Owls Bookshop.
