Children in Bo’ness will be bouncing for joy as their community group Bounce Higher received another big donation.
Back in October 2015 the group issued a plea for funding after learning Children in Need would not be donating to their cause.
Since then Diane Collins, the only full-time paid worker, and her team of volunteers have worked tirelessly to secure the funds needed.
Bounce Higher requires £30,000 a year to continue offering children across Bo’ness personalised support.
The most recent donation of £8000 from the Big Lottery Fund has pushed the total raised to an impressive £42,065.
Diane said: “The team, children, parents, carers and community are overjoyed and feel so excited to be receiving this generous grant. The Communities and Families award will bring stability for the programme, enabling us to continue supporting early years work for parents and their children.”
The group is continually fundraising and up next is a pop-up shop in Grangemouth during the Easter holidays.
