Bo'ness real Ale Festival hand out donations

One of the busiest festivals in Bo’ness, for obvious reasons perhaps, has held its annual cheque presentation.

The Bo’ness Real Ale Festival (BRAAS), held in September, donates the proceeds to local charities.

This year’s biggest donation went to the 3rd Bo’ness Scouts (£2,000) while Grange Youth Club and Kinneil Youth band both received £1,000.

To thank everyone invloved, BRAAS held a dinner on August 18 in the Corbie Inn. Attendees were treated to a pie and pint.

Donations were given out early this year to help the organisations involved. Since 2001, BRAAS has donated £23,760.
