Calnex Solutions of Linlithgow has been presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise

The official award was made on Tuesday, June 16, by the Lord Lieutenant of West Lothian Isobel Brydie, the monarch’s representative in the county.

The award recognises Calnex’s international reputation for innovative products and global sales achievements.

To date, Calnex has shipped their state-of-the-art test and measurement products to over 320 customers in 47 countries around the world.

The award comes in the form of a crystal bowl and scroll and, during the short ceremony, Mrs Brydie commented on the outstanding achievements of the team at Calnex.

After receiving the award Tommy Cook, Calnex chief executive, said: “Our products are high-complexity, high-value products.

‘‘We have built a solid reputation of doing difficult things well, delivering pioneering products aligned to our customer’s ever changing needs.

‘‘This combination of attributes has been pivotal in enabling us to establish a global reputation for market leading products and it is an honour to receive this award in recognition of our success.”

It turned out to be a week of double celebrations for the company as they were announced inaugural winners in the Best Business to Business Product/Service category at the ScotlandIS DigiTech Awards 2015 on June 18. Calnex currently employs 66 staff worldwide, 55 at Linlithgow.
