Ineos strike is off but no dispute resolution

Bosses at Grangemouth oil refinery have been accused of keeping the plant shut to force through pay and pension cuts for the workforce.

Michael Connarty, MP for Linlithgow and East Falkirk, told the Journal and Gazette that Ineos, which runs the plant, was “holding a knife to the throat of workers and the 
local economy.”

He added: “It’s a set-up and it’s shocking.”
