A WONDERFUL time was had by all at the charity meal and auction night at Linlithgow’s Ship2Shore restaurant last Thursday.
The event was organised to raise funds for the day room at St Michael’s Hospital.
It was estimated over £1000 was taken on the night where there was a soloist, motivational speaker, a raffle, auction and five-course meal.
Organiser Susie Lynn at SL Business Solutions said: “It was a brilliant night - Fabrizio and his team really excelled in their food and service.
‘’It will hopefully make improvements to the day room at the hospital and I would like to thank everyone from Linlithgow who made the night a success.”
A spokeswoman from St Michael’s Hospital added: ‘‘It’s been a while since anything’s been done with the day room.”
Businesses which donated to the raffle were: Livingston’s Restaurant, Truly Scrumptious, Steven Osbourne, Taste, Hampden, Ibrox, Kingsfield, Norton House Hotel, Fraser McCluskey of Ladybank Golf Club and the Language Rooms.
Special thanks was given to auctioneer Colin McKeand, motivational speaker Janice Porter and singer Angela Musk.
