Kidz Stop nursery has focused its fundraising efforts efforts this year on Cystic Fibrosis to help a parent that suffers from the condition.

The company, which offers nursery and after school care for around 250 children in Bo’ness and Linlithgow, has raised around £3500 from two recent events.

It held a parents’ night at Fison’s Social Club earlier in the month, followed by a family day at Kinneil House.

The well-attended event featured everything from face-painting to balloon modelling for children.

Local businesses set up stalls to sell their wares and also made a donation to the cause. The fire engine was particularly popular with children who were also delighted to meet Mickey Mouse in person.

Caroline Gormley owner of the nursery said: “We were very lucky with the weather and the support from local businesses. I would like to thank my staff for the huge
effort they have made.”
