The Bank of Scotland Foundation has urged West Lothian charities to apply to its first ever financial inclusion grants programme before the deadline of 5pm on Monday, August 4.
Launched in June, this year’s programme will provide funding of between £1000 and £20,000 to registered Scottish charities, enabling the charities to deliver projects that promote financial inclusion and money advice.
Kate Guthrie, chairwman of Bank of Scotland Foundation, said: “I’d urge charities not to miss out on this valuable volunteering opportunity.”
The Foundation has distributed in excess of £4.7 million to over 700 charities since its launch in November 2010, enabling charities to support almost 100 jobs and have a direct impact on over 80,000 people.
Charities requiring more information should call the Foundation on 0131 655 2599.
