Children’s Theatre Bo’ness brings summer cabaret to town hall

MOVIE Magic hits Bo’ness Town Hall this Tuesday, May 31, and Wednesday, June 1, as Children’s Theatre Bo’ness stages its fundraising summer cabaret.

The opener will be the company’s very own ‘showgirls’ in their Las Vegas style outfits and then the audience will be treated to a rollercoaster musical ride through a pick of the flicks.

Starting in the 1930’s Charleston era and big band sound, there’ll be a guest appearance by Zoot Swing, performing a jive/lindy hop routine with CTB backing singers.

Westerns, popular movie musicals, adventure films featuring acrobatics, like James Bond and Star Wars and romantic numbers also make it on the bill.

There’s a Disney section too and it’s rounded off with modern movies Pirates of the Caribbean, Black Swan and Slum Dog Millionaire.

The audience is encouraged to come along glammed up in Oscar night style or as their favourite film star.

Glasses of bubbly or soft drinks will be served with strawberries on arrival, and there are refreshments at the interval.

Cast members are working flat out to make them two shows to remember, and family members can have their pictures taken with the stars and then buy online afterwards.

Get your £6 tickets by calling 01324 712443, email nan.mcdonald@btinternet.com, or buy from CTB members.
