Pupils from the 1966-67 Primary 7 class at South Queensferry Primary School recently held a reunion in the town’s bowling club.
This was the first First year class to attend the new South Queensferry High School when it was built.
There were more women than men at the buffet supper, but Leonard Bolt got the award for furthest travelled.
He lives in Australia now and was home visiting family.
Five of the former pupils had organised the event specifically in the Ferry Fair week hoping to catch visitors from afar.
About 20 classmates assembled to remember their schooldays, and Ann Holland (nee Barn) said that it was just like old times: “It was a lovely evening and we were all very comfortable together.”
