TV’s Great British Bake Off may be causing tempers to fray - but a cake donated to a good cause is causing more smiles than stress.

The creation, in the shape of an Austin Healey 3000, was produced by Truly Scrumptious Cakes and presented to Linlithgow Classic Cars who in turn donated it to St Michael’s Day Care Centre, which provides support for the elderly.

Picture here left to right are Susan Archibald, managing director of Truly Scrumptious Cakes, Tom Conn, treasurer of St Michael’s Day Care Centre and Linlithgow Classic Cars organiser David Keddie.

David said the cake is arranged as part of his group’s classic car day, and this is the third time the cake donation has taken place, and goes nicely with a cup of tea. “I’m glad they enjoy it,” he said.
