LOCAL groups and businesses have rallied round after St Michael’s Day Care Centre in Linlithgow was targeted by thieves this month.
Lunch money belonging to the clients amounting to £150, copper donations of £58 were taken from the centre when the disabled toilet window was smashed two weeks ago.
But this week Alan Steel of Alan Steel Asset Management donated £250 to the centre after calling the crime “despicable.” Linlithgow Round Table also got in touch pledging to donate £300.
Delighted manager Karen Wright said: “Some people do have a heart - there are those who want to donate and help, and that’s brilliant.”
Cheque donations can be made payable to St Michael’s Day Care Centre and can be handed in directly.
