Arrest warrant granted for Bo'ness man who attacked woman

An arrest warrant has been granted for a Bo’ness man who assaulted a woman.

Mark Downie (32), of 44 Redbrae Avenue, was due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday.

He previously pleaded guilty to attacking the woman by seizing hold of her neck at a Grangemouth property on October 4, 2019.

Defence solicitor Stephen Biggam said he couldn’t explain why his client had failed to show.

The court heard Downie had also breached a community payback order.

Sheriff Derek Livingston granted a warrant for his arrest.
