Falkirk motorist guilty of dangerous driving

A motorist drove at excessive speeds on a number of roads, overtook an HGV and then collided with a sign.

James McGarva (35), Kintyre Place, Tamfourhill, appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having been found guilty at trial of dangerous driving and driving without insurance in various locations – including Johnston Avenue, Stenhousemuir and the Rosebank Roundabout, Camelon – on July 13 last year.

Sheriff Derek Livingston deferred sentence on McGarva until July 29 to await his sentencing on another matter.
