Helen McPhee, 34, appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court last Thursday having been found guilty after trial of attacking two women – one in Orchard Street, Falkirk, and another in Dunolly Street, Glasgow, – on November 4 last year.

The charges stated McPhee, 14 Ferniebank Court, Dunipace, grabbed the women by their hair before repeatedly punching them on the head and body.

Sheriff Alison Michie decided to place McPhee on a structured deferred sentence to see if she could be of good behaviour for the next six months.
