A DAFFODIL tea at Southern Cross care home raised £500 for local care services.
The money has been split evenly between Southern Cross Care Home and St Michael’s Day Care Centre and locals were invited along to enjoy the fun.
Alison Conn, activities co-ordinator, said: “It was really successful. This is the second year we have run a Daffodil Tea and we hope to do it annually.
“There were teas, coffees, home baking, a tombola, an egg decoration competition for kids and musical entertainment. Everybody had a good time.”
