THE spinning department at Paton and Baldwins thread and cotton factory in Bo’ness was captured in this photo, taken in 1958.
Seated second from the left was Margaret Meikle, nee Grant. She was around 15 years old at the time.
While unable to recall the occasion behind this particular photo, Margaret told the Journal and Gazette it was happy times at the Grangemouth Road factory.
She has memories of the afternoon tea trolley that did the rounds, bearing pastries with currants on the top.
