An HM inspection report into Linlithgow Bridge Primary School has come up trumps.
The school was praised for well behaved and motivated pupils that were achieving well, regular parent consultation, and a clear vision for continuous improvement.
Delighted headteacher Susan Webster said: “The inspection report reflects the hard work and commitment of our school community, and I am pleased that the dedication and expertise of my staff has been recognised. I am also very proud of the children - they really showed off their school and their learning, and the inspectors described them as ‘aspirational learners’. I am very much looking forward to the future at Linlithgow Bridge.”
Inspectors said the pupils were very courteous, articulate and confident, and praised the quality of children’s writing across the primary stages. They also noted the leadership roles the children took in the school and in the wider community such as High Street Guides in the town. The school was told to continue to develop the curriculum, ensuring depth in learning.
