A consultation seeking comments on guidance for wind energy development has been launched.
West Lothian Council has considered whether it is complying with Scottish planning policy and has now issued a consultation document.
The interim guidance for wind energy development will help with the assessment of planning applications for everything from smaller wind turbines up to wind farms.
Local residents and other interested parties may want to have their say on how decisions are made about where wind turbine development takes place in West Lothian.
The consultation startedon Friday, May 1, and runs until Tuesday, June 30. Information about the consultation can be found online at www.westlothian.gov.uk/article/2092/Consultations

A spokesman for West Lothian Council said: “The consultation is open to everyone in West Lothian and interest is also expected from community councils, Scottish Natural Heritage, and developers.’’
