A Labour/Conservative and Independent coalition will lead Falkirk Council, it was confirmed at the first meeting of the new Council earlier today (Friday).

Councillor Pat Reid was sworn in as Provost for a second term with Councillor John Patrick as Depute Provost.

Councillor Craig Martin will be the council leader, with Councillors Allyson Black and Malcolm Nicol as deputes.
