Falkirk rail passengers affected by breakdown

Passengers using several Falkirk railway stations have been affected after a freight train broke down.

The incident occurred near Cumbernauld and is affecting the service to Glasgow Queen Street.

A replacement bus is currently running between Falkirk Grahamston and Cumbernauld.

Staff are preparing to move the failed freight train to allow normal service to be resumed.
