Fun day in the sun at Kinneil

The sun came out on cue for the annual fun day at Kinneil Primary, Bo’ness, on Saturday.

There were no outdoor stalls this year and the emphasis was on fun, fun, fun! The ubiquitous inflatables, facepainting and Hook-a-Duck were very popular among the children while parents and teachers joined the frolics.

Head teacher Paul Fleming even put himself in the firing line for a ‘Beat the Goalie’ challenge

“It was a great day all round,” said mum Kelly Dow, co-organiser. ‘‘The weather was great and it was good of the head teacher to join in, too.”

Big prizes were up for grabs in a raffle including a brand new Kindle Fire book reader donated by Weslo Housing Association and P6 pupil Ellie Sneddon was delighted when her mum Hannah won a pair of OneDirection tickets.
