Earlier this year we reported on a row which had arisen over the floral displays at Water Yett, Linlithgow.
As a result of the impasse, West Lothian Council had requested, in consultation with the gardener, Eileen Murray that the beds be removed.
At the time there had been some concerns about dampness entering a neighbouring property.
However, Eileen has advised the Journal & Gazette this week that she is delighted to learn that after some remedial work to the size and height of the bedding area, she can now replant it.
West Lothian Council said: “We are delighted that agreement has been reached between all the parties and that the displays will feature again.”
