THE PUBLIC will soon have their say on plans that could transform Linlithgow.
Development ideas from Wallace Land Investment for the 48 hectare Burghmuir site on Blackness Road have been in the pipeline for years but local residents have the chance to view the most recent proposals and respond at events on Wednesday, November 30, from 3-8pm and on Thursday, December 1, at the Burgh Halls.
The community engagement is part of Wallace Land’s consultation process before they submit a planning application to West Lothian Council for their masterplan which includes a medium-sized foodstore with petrol filling station, a hotel, a care home, a community park and dance studio. The plans also include west facing slip roads onto the M9 at Junction 3, up to 600 homes and a new neighbourhood centre.
