Are you a biker? Are you charity minded? Are you looking for something different to do this Easter Sunday?
If the answer is yes, why not join Carron Valley Motorcycle Club members on their annual charity run to raise funds for Rachel House Children’s Hospice?
Leaving from the bottom car park at Falkirk Wheel at 10.30am on Sunday, April 20, the event will see hundreds of bikers from across the district ride-out and drive in procession to Kinross.
Officers from Police Scotland’s motorcycle division will be among those taking part.
The charity run goes all the way to Kinross services, before many of the riders show their generous nature by continuing on to Rachel House to donate Easter eggs to the children and their families.
CHAS fundraiser Laura Campbell said: “We are delighted to have the support of Carron Valley Motorcycle Club again this Easter.
“It has been a fantastic supporter of Rachel House and is always so generous.
“The children always look forward to seeing the motorbikes and the chocolate!
“Money raised by the club allows us to continue supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Scotland.”
Last year’s event raised the huge sum of £7323.45 but the club hopes to surpass that figure this year.
