A World War One exhibition opens in Queensferry tomorrow (Saturday).
The library will host an exhibition by Queensferry History Group into the impact World War One had on the town. It runs for a week.
By using the names on war memorials at the town’s Rosebery Hall and in Dalmeny as a starting point, the displays tell the stories of some of the men who died in the 1914-1918 war and portrays life in Queensferry at the time.
It explain the town’s association with the Navy, the first casualty in France and the sinking of the cruiser Pathfinder off St Abb’s Head.
