In the spotlight this week is Alan Evans, toasting his Three Peaks challenge success.

1 If you could spend a day with any celebrity who would it be and why?

Being a Windsorian and to be topical, the Queen. I would have got the best seat to the Buckingham Palace Jubilee Concert.

2 Your dream job?

A successful comedian so that I could have told some good jokes on Deacons Night and the Marches when I was Deacon.

3 If you could choose any chef in the world, who would cook your evening meal?

Jamie Oliver - so I can say that school dinners are not that bad!

4 What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Walking into a broom cupboard after an exam!

5 What is your all-time favourite film?

Monty Python’s Life of Brian - what did the Romans do for us?

6 If you won the lottery what would be the first thing you would buy, and why?

I’d buy Victoria Halls in the High Street and do something proud with it.

7 How many languages can you speak?

I can speak a little French and my wife thinks I’m good at jibberish.

8 What has been one of your proudest achievements?

Marrying Christine and having two wonderful girls (Emily and Alicia) is top!

9 Do you like Marmite?

I wouldn’t say I love it but on toast after a good night out is pretty good going.

10 X Factor, which song would you sing and why?

Whatever I sing it will never be cool enough for my kids.
