Jobs boost for Bo'ness

CALEDONIAN Produce announced this week it hopes to create around 50 full-time, permanent jobs.

The firm, that currently employs 900 staff at Carriden Industrial Estate, is expanding into the former Christie Timber site on Bridgeness Road.

Work is already underway to convert the premises, and it's hoped they will be operational by mid-summer.

Caledonian Produce makes over 90 products for food giant Marks and Spencer.
