Kids take grandparents to school

GRANDPARENTS across Linlithgow went back to school this term to see what the kids are up to these days.

It was a fun day for P1 pupils at Low Port Primary as they showed their proud grandpas and grannies round the school and examples of their work.

Lynda Stobie, acting depute head teacher, said: “This is one of the highlights of the year.

“We had a lot of grandparents there - there were over 60 and it was lovely.

‘‘The children sang classics like, ‘You cannae shove your grannie off a bus’ and recited the Scottish poetry they’d learned earlier in the year.

“The pupils showed them how different it was from when they were in school, and they enjoyed some tea and cakes!”
