A team of determined fundraisers from Alan Steel
Asset Management trudged 23 miles last week - and have raised over £4000 as a result.
The all-female team took part in the annual Kiltwalk fundraising event which started at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow and finished in Balloch.
The girls have decided to donate half of the money raised to the Sick Kids’ hospital in Edinburgh as a way of thanking them for the care they have given to one of the team member’s sons.
Susan’s Simmons son, Liam Dunn has been a patient there for the last 10 years, following surgery to remove a brain tumour.
The remainder of the money raised will be split between the other charities supported by the Kiltwalk.
Team ASAM Kilties was: Kerry Abram, Gillian Gourlay, Gilly Duncan, Susan Simmons, Jane Murray, Elizabeth Mills and Jennifer Abram.
