Linlithgow coach nominated for Scottish football glory

HOPES are riding high that BFC coach and club vice chair Billy McAdam will take home some team silver tomorrow (Saturday).

But rather than heading up a winning team, it's Billy's efforts as coach that are being recognised by the Scottish FA South East Region's Quality Mark awards.

BFC chairman Dougie Gray nominated his colleague for the Coach of the Year award, and out of the 100 nominated, Billy is in the final three.

For more on the story, see the Journal and Gazette out on Friday January 7.
