ROADWORKS at Linlithgow Bridge drove motorists to boiling point as they queued in and out of the town last weekend.
Resurfacing work began on November 7, from the Bridge Inn to the four-way traffic lights at Linlithgow Bridge. Work was expected to take up to four week but it was completed on Monday. David Kennedy (50) lives at Lovells Glen, Linlithgow Bridge, and was incredulous the work took so long.
He said: “The roadworks at The Brig is a job that should take one weekend in total. Four weeks was outrageous. There was barely any work going on during the week and at weekends they were out in force.’’
