Ann McLaughlan, a fundraiser for the Bethany Christian Trust, was on hand to receive a cheque for the charity from the Rotary Club of Linlithgow Grange.
The club raised £3,000 from a charity golf tournament. Club president Stephen Blake handed over the cheque for the interim sum, which, Rotary hope to increase as further funds are gathered.
The charity, which supports homeless and vulnerable people throughout Scotland, is one which closely aligns with Rotary’s theme this year of supporting the homeless.
Linlithgow Grange has also committed to purchasing two ‘shelter boxes’ - large family sized tents supplied with survival kit which can be deployed to disaster zones around the world.
