Bin strike planned in West Lothian

BIN men plan to strike today (Friday) following a break down in pay talks with West Lothian Council.

The GMB Union, representing the 46 workers involved, told officials that the 24-hour action would be followed by an indefinite work to rule, and the possibility of further strike action in the future. This will affect homes in Linlithgow and surrounding villages.

Updates on the strike action are available at www.westlothian.gov.uk
